Why can't people under age 17 take Miralax?
i had constipation a day ago and sometime last week. i took Senna (one pill) last night at about 7pm and i took a dump earlier around 2 or 3 pm (although it said it'll make me poop in 6-12 hours). but it worked, but i noticed i had a teeny (like seriously, it was only a little bit. it looked pink) bit of blood when i wiped but i was better.
i had my mom buy me Miralax because my friend (who's 13 like me) says it works really well for her and also for future problems with constipation.
it's the powder one (the one you pour into drinks. they come in little packets of powder). but when i was reading it it said "17 years of age and older"
and then "under 17: ask a doctor". should i take it anyways? my friend takes it and she's just fine, but i know how all our bodies are different. what should i do?
