What to do about sickness, doctors note and work?
i was off saturday sick.. i called my boss and told him id been up all night being sick and wouldnt be in.. he wasnt happy.. ive had alot of sickness..I went to the doctor monday and he signed me off for 3 weeks with depression.. im not in any fit state to work and the past 6 months have been really hard for me to deal with... my health has suffered and i now have an eating disorder.I posted the sick note into work as soon as i got it.. for it to get there in time before my next shift on thursday.Do i need to phone work in the meantime and tell him that i will be off?. Its a temporary job so i was due to leave in 5 weeks time anyway. If you say yes, i do need to call.. what do i say? its taken me 6 months to admit my problems to myself and to seek help. I just do not find it easy at all to talk about.
