Chill the f*ck up, I love glasses. They look good on some people but on others they might not. I wear glasses, and I look better in them. "Dorky" glasses are considered to be the think, round ones (like goggles). Mine are almost square-shaped and thin. They are purple with diamonds in shapes of flowers on the sides. They are vogue and costed $400.

We understand your feelings about wearing glasses and we hear you. Venting is good when your upset and we're here to help, I hope. I've seen people who look cool in glasses and they think so to. If you don't like the way they look you're entitled to your opinion. However, How a person looks in glasses is subjective and beauty is indeed, in the eye of the beholder.

Not sure about the "glasses = smart" sentiment, but people who need vision correction that don't get lenses *stay stupid*.It would be great if I didn't have to wear lenses at all. Glasses get scratched, dirty, and lost. Contacts wander where they shouldn't, irritate when you wear them the entire day, and are messy to deal with.The big reason I don't get LASIK is that it's expensive, and I'd rather buy a cheap pair of glasses every so many years, and buy other stuff. I'm also not up for having my eyes sliced open. For all the cons, glasses are *easy*.

ok I wear glasses and Im offended by this. I don't want stupid contacts or spending money on lasik.I got them for 60. My little bro(4th grade) read this and he is very angry.EDIT:Some people are embarrassed about glasses. (like me)People say im hot and all, but I was without them too.
