Dermabrasion is a procedure during which the skin is frozen and a device is used to "sand" the skin, according to MedicineNet.com. A new layer of skin then replaces the sanded off skin, giving it a smoother appearance and hopefully removing the layer that contained the stretch mark.
Chemical peels are applied to the skin to cause blistering, and the blistered skin is then peeled off. The new layer of exposed skin is usually smoother and younger looking and could be without noticeable stretch marks. Keep in mind that the new skin in these procedures is more sensitive to sunlight and must be carefully protected, especially in the days immediately following the procedure.

my stretch marks aren't that bad, but I got one of those serums that help during/after pregnancy and it was a HUGE improvement, they also fade in the sun.

i gained a bunch of random weight after high school, and wasnt putting lotion on my midsection, and i got a TON of stretchmarks. but, then i lostthe weight within 6 months after kept just regular lotion on it at all times, massaged my skin to get the blood flowing to my skin. and theyre all gone.
so, it kind of depends on how long they've been there and how big they are. REGARDLESS keep your skin moisturized, my god, you can get stretch marks from dry skin and twisting your body too much while sleeping! its ridiculous! as long as your skin can maintain it's elasticity you should be good. really shouldnt matter what lotion you use unless theyre old. then you'd have to use vitamin E capsules or a medicated cream specifically for them.
goooood luck! theyre difficult to get rid of
