Unfortunately, depression isn't curable, per say, but rather, controllable. Through therapy, you can talk through your problems and worries and successfully minimize your depression, but if you have true clinical depression, the numbness can come back at full force at any point in life. I don't mean to be a downer, but if the symptoms you have, such as the numbness, last for more than two weeks straight, you should really seek a doctor's care because that is the main sign of a diagnosable mental illness. There are certain things around the house that can lessen the depression, though. For one, meditation and yoga work wonders. Also, bubble baths or aroma therapy. Being able to sit and relax and smell a lit candle (or something like it) is extremely soothing. And then, obviously, doing things that make you happy will help. If you are so numb that you can't bring yourself to even try to get better, you should really tell someone you trust and get their opinion. Good luck!
