My 9yr old son and ADHD Combined, Please help!?
My son was diagnosed with ADHD Combined last June. I know he 's had it since hewas in kinder because of the same behvior but i never did anythin bout it since was a young mom then (20) and would always say " he is just being boy' . But his kinder teacher was the 1st to tell me she thought maybe he had it. then 1st grde teacher, then 2nd nd third techer told me the same and most about his behavior.We mved and i put him to a different school and the teaCHER started to complain about his behavior and beingt slow when it came to subjects in school, specially math.so like i said i took him to see a therapist and was diagnosed wth the adhd combined, i didnt want to believe it so it took me a while and teacher always complain and snding my child to the office during reeces and after lunch he would just spend recess there. i felt terrible so decided to put my son on meds barely this March and all seemed to be well. Teacher was comfortable now, sce she didnt have to deal wth my baby. but then all of a sudden everythign went back to normal, he started faling again he takes longer to finish tasks tacher complainin,i dont knowwhat to do. i feel terrible having to put m son in time out all the time. i hate that this teacher always complains and blams everything he does on is condition. what do i do??

answer: D.D time: 2010-10-31 22:21:25i've only seen 2nd spelling you posted. It's a mental disorder that they don't know what causes it. They believe it may be hereditary. But symptoms include delusional thoughts, hallucinations, paranoia. It's a very serious disorder. My cousin committed suicide from it. Very sad. It's hard to get patients to take their meds because they don't believe they are "sick".
