Mum not happy about me being a cutter?

I been cutting for like two months, my friend pressured me into telling her, she worried and wants me to go live with my grandmother, see a counsellour etc. What should i do? I was cutting for control and to bee able to 'see' my feelings according to a anonymous helpline i called up. im slightly depressed but not suicidal, i only told her coz she'd find out sometime anyway like when we go to the gym, i';m 14 and a girl how do i get her to chill? also i really don't want to quit cutting its such a rush is it worth it to cut my thighs instead or something (already do that too but didnt tell her) coz it really relaxes me (weird i know..) but should i quit cutting? I really don;t want to and i'm careful not to hurt myself too much, i'm not a emo or attention seeker just want advice?? Plz no stupid answers ..Thanx
