Is this normal after getting new glasses?
i just got new glasses with prism in themthe prism is to keep my eyes working together cuss i have a lazy eyeand the glasses feel weird. without the glasses i usually use just one eye to seeand with the glasses im using both could this be the reason ?my depth perception feels wierd too but i tried some tests for it and its fine... could this be cuss my depth perception is now better and takes time to get used to?

Your cylinder (astigmatism) change is probably insignificant. The sphere power (the first number) is a bigger change and is consistent with your complaints. It is 2 steps higher in each eye. If over-minused your distance would be fine (usually), but your near vision may be strained. Good luck.
answer: jv time: 2011-05-15 21:47:24I don't think the increase in the astigmatism is alot, mine changed that much and I was told not to worry about changing the glasses. Looks like you have a half a diopter increase in each eye. Can you see the text close up? If not maybe you need some correction for near work too. How much do you wear them?
