I'm 12 years old and i have 8 cavities! will someone please tell me what the dentist will do?
i recently went to the dentist and found out i had 8 cavities! i'm 12 years old and i'm terrified of the dentist! i've never had a cavity before so i don't know what to expect. i'm also confused because i don't know how i got 8 cavities! i brush my teeth 3 times a day, use mouth was and floss.

Don't remove it now. Try to get by with antibiotics and pain pills. This will be less iffy that taking the tooth out now and possibly developing complications. When you get back, talk to your dentist to see if a better option may be extraction and an implant, rather than re treatment. Good luck and have fun on your honeymoon.
