Answer Question

This can be many things you didn't explain are they painful? itchy?

If it is to do with shaving your suppose to stop shaving for 3-4 weeks to let your skin repair itself.

You should try e45 cream for sensitive skin and if that doesn't work you should see a doctor just to put your mind at rest.

It sounds like you've had this problem for a while.. does it hurt? Do they bleed if you pick at them? Go see your doctor and tell them. They can probably prescribe you something. Good luck! And don't be afraid to wear shorts.

My best friend has those. She's been shaving since about the third or fourth grade because her hairs were REaLLY dark.

When you look at your legs, they look normal, but then there are red circles almost, covering large areas (they can be in clusters, or evenly spread out). If this is the case, then look closer at the skin (hold your leg up to the light and see if the skin pops out. When you fall and scrape your knee, it can swell, am I correct? If you use a razor (no matter how expensive and well it works) you can cut yourself and it can swell. Are they bumps, or just circles?

Another (and this may make you squeamish, if you don't like talking health), how far up does it go? If it reaches your private area, you might have a skin problem. But if it's just where you shave, you might be allergic to an ingredient in the shaving cream, or a gel/aloe they use on the razor. It could also be dry skin. That's what mine is (I have them on my arms), so I just use lotion everyday. If you use Clearasil or other acne-cream, and you are willing to use it on your legs, that might clear it up too.

I would highly suggest seeing a dermatologist, though and get the bumps checked out. Google "how to get rid of leg bumps" or visit some of the websites that I listed that are helpful to learn about skin care.

Good luck with this! And I hope that when the extremely hot weather comes blowing in, that you'll be out in a swimsuit and shorts!

I've been getting red bumps all over my thighs since last year. I started using PanOxyl soap and it's helping to clear up the bumps. It's just a soap with benzyl peroxide (sp?) in it and it really helps.
