It's from the meds. It will go away after you get off the meds and some time passes. This was a very rude thing for him to say that to you. I don't know how I would feel about that, probably not embarrassed though. I'd probably be more angry at such a mean and self-centered comment, especially if I had been sick for such a long time. But that's just me.

I would find it embarrassing, but not insulting. He was essentially letting you know, albeit in a slightly sudden and blunt way. Simply explain to him that the illness and meds temporarily altered your body's chemistry and it will go away (probably) eventually. Personally, I'd thank him for his honesty and then try to find some way to laugh about it together. It's only temporary.

That's embarassing. You should tell him that no woman really smells good down there...lol...
