How do I cement my tooth back in?
I have a crown that came off and I need it cemented back in. I called a few dentist and they all want to charge me between $150 - $250 for glue. Most of them trying to get x-rays and all of that in as well. I don't have insurance or the money to spend on a dentist's time. I assume anyone can just buy the right kind of cement and put it back in right?

however i am a orivate dentist and my bands fall like this

•Band 3: £170. This charge includes all the necessary treatment that is covered by the £10.00 and £34.50 charges, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges
The three NHS charge bands are as follows:
•Band 1: £16.50. This charge includes an examination, diagnosis and preventive advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, scale and polish and planning for further treatment.
•Band 2: £45.60. This charge includes all the necessary treatment covered by the £16.50 charge, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment or extractions.

So an extraction will cost £45.60 but your dentist may not do both at the same time, you'll have to ask them in that regard. I've had all of my wisdom teeth removed (individually) and it does hurt initially for about two or three days but you may feel discomfort for a couple of weeks as your gums heal. If you want some sort of replacement for your molar you will probably be looking at the band 3 charge of £198.
