Open Question
HOW LONG WOULD MY MOMS PAIN LAST FROM HER HYSTERECTOMY?
my mom had a hysterectomy surgery about 10 days ago.
it was the removal of the uterus only, thank god it wasnt worse.
it was an abdominal operation.
but she still has a lot of pains and it even reaches her legs. she says
she even feels her legs getting numb at times.
shes also getting so many mood swings, she feels happy for a moment,
and then she feels like crying a minute later, she says its because of the pain,
but i dont know.
i really need some help because im very worried about her health and dont know if this is normal or not.
please if someone can help me, i would appreciate it so much.

No no no no no no no no no no. I AM a swimmer, and every time I would try to get in without a tampon I could see the little cloud of red so I would automatically get out and put a tampon in. Water does NOT stop your menstrual flow, it simply dilutes it so it seems as if it stops. It doesn't. Ever. And physical activity INCREASES menstrual flow. My pads and/or tampons were always fuller after soccer or softball practice. Nothing decreases the flow but your body telling the blood to stop.
