Get really bad period pains?
Ever time i get my period i get unbearable pains....like i just got scabbed or something. i am in tears because the pain is so bad and when i have a hot water bottle it kinda helps a bit and in an hour the pain is gone. i could get it again later on but it comes and goes. this goes on for 3 days during my period. should i go to a doctor the next time i get these pains? i miss days off school because of these!

ahh, get yourself to the doctors girl, get checked out. any answer you get here would be a waste as without an exam its "blind" advice..there's a saying women have used for a long long time about vaginal examination...leave your dignity at the door...i don't know if the doc will put you in stirrups for an exam like a smear or just swab the discharge..either way my young friend..get used to it, its the first of many..if your lucky he wont have a team of 18 yr old "med" students gathered round gaping at you like guppy fish at feeding time.lol...Doc's are professionals..take your mum if your worried. hope this helps
