You need to talk to your parents or caregiver and make a doctor's appointment as soon as you can. Bladder infections can spread fairly quickly to your kidneys and make you very, very sick. You will most likely need an antibiotic to get rid of the infection. A doctor can take a sample of your urine, see how much and what kinds of bacteria are present and know exactly what antibiotic to prescribe.

Once you have an infection, over-the-counter medications and supplements (like cranberry) will not cure it. Cranberry juice (and only the completely unsweetened kind), however, may help prevent an infection before it starts.

If you are getting recurrent bladder infections there may also be a problem with your urinary tract that needs evaluated.

Try drinking lots of cranberry juice, or take cranberry extract pills. You do not need to go to the doctor for any of that. If those don't work over time, you will need to call your doctor's office and tell them that you believe you have an infection. They'll set up an appointment, and all you will have to do is go give them a urine sample, then you're done. If they find any bacteria or infection in your urine, they will call and let you know, and prescribe you with some antibiotics. Then you'll go to your pharmacist and pick them up! It's well worth it, trust me!

Two come to mind.AZO and Cystex.both are good.You must drink lots of water when
you take these.I have had bladder infections too many times I know it hurts to go and
nothing will come out.Chills and you want to push harder.miserable stuff.If after you
take these and you still are hurting go see your doctor for antibodics.Hope you get
