Open Question
Do you get given contacts in the same appointment when you're getting checked for which you need?
I'm going for my first contact lenses appointment today, to see what type of contacts I need. Will they give me the contacts and help me put them in at the same time? Thanks!

Yeah it's most likely a sty, or maybe its pink eye, caused by having fecal matter in your eye. I had this before and the best thing to do is to put a warm cloth on it for about 2 minutes, it will help the swelling, also try eye drops too!hope this helpedbtw you DO NOT have aids, dont listen to them..

answer: Haley time: 2010-07-08 10:46:19If you mean you have been treating yourself without a diagnosis from a qualified eye care professional, then neither you nor anyone else yet knows "what is wrong with my eye". So you need to go in and let an eye doc tell you what is wrong with your eye.

answer: Shanna time: 2010-07-08 10:46:18I'm sure it is nothing serious. Maybe dry eye? If it comes to a point when it affects your eye sight or hurts your eye, go to the eye doctor.Good luck!

answer: moinjaang time: 2010-07-08 09:46:24Personally I would go to my ophthalmologist. You may need some Keflex to get the swelling down in there. Swelling isn't usually something huge to worry about but if you're feeling pain when you look up, then I would go to the MD.
answer: Christy K time: 2010-07-08 09:46:15going by your symptoms,it does sound like pink eye.don't touch it anymore as you can spread it to your other eye.use warm wash rag to get crust out, especially in the morning.get to the eye doctor as soon as possible.
answer: Sunshine time: 2010-07-08 08:46:26The doctor puts drops in to dilate the eyes to better examine them.Im sure that is what the yellow color is.Really nothing to worry about, call him if it makes you feel better.
