Dark warp things in my vision?
Help me!! I am sooo scared!! For about 4 years, I noticed that when I look at the sky or an light colored object, I see little dark colored warpiing shapes in my eyes. I notice it more when I'm outside. These waves don't stay there, they move, and it's almost as if they are twisting toward the center of my eyes. It almost looks like I have a dark colored warp in my eyes. My vision hasnt really gotten any worse since this started. I do get on te computer quite alot. Sometimes for 2 hours at a time. I have no problem reading. I don't need glasses or contacts but I did notice my vision gets a bit blurry sometimes but I don't sleep alot so that could be it. Anyway, I looked up Stargardts disease and got terrified. I'm 17, and neither my mother or father had this disease, and i don't have a family history of this or anything. Isnt this a relatively rare condition anyway?? Thank You!By the way, I dont have trouble seeing colors and and detail and stuff. If I'm stadning outside I have ni trouble looking far away and seeing detail likes tree branches and stuff.I just thought I'd add that the warps are barely noticeable they arent prevalent. Only if I really look at a white object or the sky. I really have to almost gaze and lose focus intentionally to notice it. Also, it's not floaters. I have already ruled that out. I do have floaters but this is somethin different.

Ok if you want contacts for a prescription you need to go see your eye doctor! or An eye doctor. Call them and say I would like an appt. to come in and get a consultation to get contact. Then she/he can tell you what times to come. Then when you get there, tell the dr your reason for wanting contacts, he will probably do a consultation on your eyes to get your information if he/she does not already have it. After he does what you need to do he will get you all setup, with contact and make sure you can out them in and take them out, then he will get you however many months/years With of contacts you want. He will most likely give you a trial pair until your prescription contacts come in, he will show you solution to get and how to clean them and all that good stuff! Hope this helped,
